New Honda Civic 1.6 i-DTEC diesel

A while ago we announced the launch of the new 1.6 litre diesel. As expected, it is now being added to the Honda Civic range. The new engine boasts 120-PS and achieves 78.5-mpg whilst emitting just 94g/km CO² - thus qualifying it for free road tax and exemption from the London Congestion charge (subject to registration).

The model will be all but identical to the 2.2 i-DTEC, with the exception of the 16" alloy wheels, and will go on sale at the beginning of 2013, priced from £19,400.

The 1.6-litre i-DTEC engine will also be going into the Honda CR-V later in 2013.
