Remembering Martin Williams

It is with immense sadness that I share the devastating news of Martin Williams’ passing last night. This is a shocking and heartbreaking moment for all of us at Trident Honda.
Our thoughts and deepest condolences go out to Martin’s family. After the loss of his beloved wife Jayne earlier this year, their family has faced unimaginable grief in 2024.
Martin was not only a remarkable colleague but a dear friend to so many of us. Having joined Trident in 1989, he became an integral part of our team and the heart of our parts operation, stepping into leadership with distinction after Ian Essex’s departure in 2009. He approached every challenge with dedication, skill, and kindness, and his warmth and camaraderie left a lasting impression on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
To Martin, I say a heartfelt goodbye. You have been a part of my life since you joined Trident two years after I did. You have been a fantastic colleague, a trusted friend, and an irreplaceable part of our family.
Thank you for everything, Martin. Godspeed, and may you rest in peace.
