Trident Honda is delighted to announce that it is sponsoring the 2018 Horsell Scouts & Guides Grand May Fayre event.
Now in its 40th year, the Grand May Fayre is being held on 7th May 2018 at the Wheatsheaf Recreation Ground in Horsell. The exciting free event in the annual Horsell social calendar is to be opened at midday by The Mayor of Woking, Cllr. Graham Cundy with County and local dignitaries from Scouts and Guides.
The main arena event this year will be Adams Axemen, a lumberjack display team from New Forest in Dorset. These amazing showmen put a whole new spin on what they can do with an axe and a saw.
After enjoying the soft play, inflatables, face painting, and the popular climbing wall, all should sit back and take it easy by watching the talented Summercales Dancers and listening to live music from the Music Marquee with live music all afternoon from local performers, including and starring Stillwell and Lacey. Singers, musicians and even bell ringers will be performing. Another enjoyable part of the day is the sampling of the delights created on the BBQ or pancake stall, washed down with fine ales from the Thurston Brewery beer tent.
Steve Henderson, dealer principal and commercial director at Trident Honda, says:
The Horsell Scouts and Guides offer a vital role in the local community. We are delighted to be able to sponsor their 2018 Grand May Fayre.
