Another successful Dragon Boat Race sponsored by Trident Honda

Congratulations to all the teams who took part in the 6th annual Dragon Boat Races on Sunday 3 June at Goldsworth Park Lake, Woking.

Sponsored by Trident Honda, the event saw 10 teams take to the water in brightly painted, dragon-headed boats on an extremely hot and blisteringly sunny day. The event provided a colourful spectacle for all our visitors during the day, who came to the lakeside to cheer on the rowers and to enjoy the family fun day activities on the bank too.

Our team, the Trident Honda Otters, won its first race convincingly, won its second race against the Hospice Heroes with a photo finish, before being finally beaten in the third race, despite achieving our best time of the day and possible to date!

The worthy winners, Team Seymours from Seymours' Estate Agents, crossed the lake in a very speedy 57.94 seconds. Second and third places were won by two teams from Natta Building Company, the 'Average Team' and the 'Dream Team'.
