The Hospice Woodland Walk was held on Sunday 25th September, with over 300 walkers enjoying the glorious sunshine. Trident Honda was delighted to be the main sponsor for the event again this year.
Starting and finishing at Fairoaks Airport, the event was hosted by Woking & Sam Beare Hospice and Wellbeing Care, who are celebrating 25 years of delivering hospice care across North West Surrey.
The event had something for everyone, with both short and longer options, making it ideal for families, individuals, as well as walker groups. All participants received a unique eco-friendly Woodland Walk Medal to showcase their achievement.
The Event Village was run by Hospice staff and volunteers, and offered an array of stalls, including a refreshment station, face painting, children's games and activities, the ever-popular tombola, and more.
Phil Wormley, Fundraising Director for the Hospice comments:
We are hugely grateful for Trident Honda for sponsoring this year's event and for their continued support. We also offer our sincere thanks to Fairoaks Airport for hosting the event and to the many volunteers who have helped make this a success. Thank you to everyone who joined us on the day, at both the walk and Event Village.
