Trident Honda is delighted to be supporting the Martian Race, which returns to Horsell Common on Sunday 21st June 2026.

Organised by Woking Lions, the Martian Race is a much-loved local running event, with all proceeds distributed to carefully selected local charities. The 2025 event raised £20,000, and the organisers are hoping to build on that success in 2026.

This year's event offers a choice of distances, with something for a wide range of runners and families:

  • 2km Mini-Martians race
  • 5km race
  • 10km race
  • 21km race

The routes take runners across the heathland of Horsell Common, including shaded woodland, grassy meadows and the famous sandpits, which are linked to H. G. Wells' classic novel The War of the Worlds.

The start and finish will be at McLaren Technology Park, with the first race due to begin at 08.45.

Trident Honda's support helps cover the cost of the medals, enabling Woking Lions to maximise the amount raised for local charities. Every finisher, including those taking part in the Mini-Martians race, will receive a medal.

We are very pleased to support an event that brings the community together, encourages wellbeing and helps raise valuable funds for local causes.
