Honda Prelude 2027 Limited Edition coming to Europe

Honda has announced a new Prelude 2027 Limited Edition, bringing an exclusive new colour and interior combination to European customers from autumn 2026.

Following its debut in Japan, the limited-run model will feature a striking Premium Crystal Garnet Metallic exterior together with a distinctive Bordeaux interior, giving the new Prelude an even more individual appearance.

Exclusive new colour scheme

The Prelude Limited Edition introduces Honda's Premium Crystal Garnet Metallic paint, designed to emphasise the coupe's flowing lines and sleek proportions.

The exterior is complemented by:

• Red accents on the front and rear bumpers
• Red Brembo brake calipers
• 19-inch black cut alloy wheels

Inside, the cabin receives a rich Bordeaux finish using premium materials and contrasting red detailing.

Red stitching features across the steering wheel, centre console and dashboard, continuing onto the front seats and door trim. Dedicated floor mats with red accents complete the look.

Each Limited Edition also features a Prelude logo embroidered into the dashboard, giving the interior a distinctive finishing touch.

Honda e:HEV hybrid performance

Beneath the new colour scheme, the Prelude Limited Edition retains Honda's e:HEV full hybrid powertrain and innovative Honda S+ Shift technology.

The new Prelude has been developed around the concept of the effortless movement of a glider, combining sports coupe responsiveness with refinement and everyday usability.

Tomoyuki Yamagami, Large Project Leader for the Honda Prelude, explained:

“The characteristics of the Prelude have changed over the years, but what has remained the same is its sportiness and specialty.”

He added that, rather than drawing inspiration from the aggressive character traditionally associated with sports cars, the latest Prelude is intended to evoke:

“the image of a glider that glides through the air with a sense of freedom.”

Continuing the Prelude story

The original Honda Prelude first appeared nearly 50 years ago and became known for introducing some of Honda's latest technology in a distinctive sports coupe package.

The latest generation continues that tradition, combining contemporary design with Honda's latest hybrid technology and a focus on an engaging driving experience.

The Honda Prelude 2027 Limited Edition will be available in Europe from autumn 2026, with further UK availability and specification details expected to follow.
