Honda Super-N named Fun Car of the Year

The Honda Super-N has added another award to its growing collection, being named Fun Car of the Year at the News UK Motor Awards 2026.

The award celebrates the compact electric Honda's combination of everyday practicality, distinctive character and, most importantly, driver enjoyment.

Will Dron, Digital Driving Editor at The Times and The Sunday Times, praised the Super-N's light and nimble handling, simulated gearshifts and styling inspired by Honda's past, describing it as a small EV that generates big smiles.

Small electric car, big personality

The Super-N was designed to show that an electric car can be practical and efficient without sacrificing personality or driving enjoyment.

Its compact dimensions make it ideally suited to everyday driving, while its agile handling and distinctive BOOST mode, complete with simulated gearshifts, give the Super-N a playful character that sets it apart from many other small electric cars.

Michael Doyle, Head of Automobile at Honda Motor Europe (UK), said the aim from the beginning had been to create an electric vehicle that would put a smile on people's faces every time they got behind the wheel.

The latest award adds to the Super-N's growing recognition from the UK motoring press and follows its recent Best Value Car award at the 2026 What Car? Electric Car Awards.
