The HR-V is a coupe-styled SUV with all the smart looks of its bigger brother. Looking rugged on the road with distinctive bumpers and a bold front grille, it still cuts a sporty shape with flowing curves and hidden rear door handles that add coupe-like styling.

The HR-V doesn't just look great. All its refinements have a purpose, too. Even its chiselled lines have been engineered to make the car more aerodynamic - ensuring the drive is both easy to handle and fuel efficient.

Room to move

Designed to adapt in a snap, our famed Magic Seats can configure in lots of useful ways - increasing the HR-V's boot capacity from 470 to 1533 litres.

Powerful Economy

The HR-V has both top-notch engine performance and fuel-sipping running costs.

The new HR-V comes with two punchy engine choices: a responsive 129bhp 1.5 litre petrol or an extra efficient 118bhp 1.6 litre diesel - returning up to 71mpg.

And with Honda's Earth Dreams Technology, Idle Stop and the Honda ECON function, you can get plenty more miles for your money.

The HR-V is front-wheel drive, available with either a newly-engineered six-speed manual gearbox or an automatic CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission). All in all, it's one of the cheapest cars to run of its kind.

When you need to keep your eyes on the road, it's great to have everything to hand. We've intuitively designed the HR-V's cockpit so that every feature is where you need it - from the elegant dashboard with Honda CONNECT touchscreen, to the multi-function steering wheel.

The interior is coupled with quality details like chrome door handles, and with selected grades, a leather steering wheel and gear stick. Choose between fabric and half-leather seats for the feel you're after.

Honda CONNECT

The HR-V features our new Honda CONNECT² technology. It's a central touchscreen that puts all the things you love in life, like your music and your friends, right at your fingertips.

You can personalise the Honda Connect 7" touchscreen with your favourite photos. It gives you easy access to your mobile phone contacts, and you can even set up voice tagging.

On-board navigation is provided by Garmin™³, which uses a simple icon menu to give you maps, real time traffic information and speed limit warnings[^3]. Honda offers you a total of four annual free map updates after the purchase of your car.

The intuitive touchscreen gives you access to all your mobile phone functionality, including Bluetooth™. You've also got WiFi, USB and HDMI™ connections to give you internet and music for your journeys.

The AHA app gives you access to a host of radio stations and your favourite social media at the touch of a button.

Keeping you safe

We've packed a serious level of advanced engineering into the new HR-V that protects you, your passengers, and other road users.

Lane Departure Warning

Detects road markings and if the car strays from your current lane without indicating, the system alerts you with audible and visual warnings.

Traffic Sign Recognition

Traffic Sign Recognition automatically recognises road signs and displays them via the Intelligent Multi Information Display, so you always know exactly what you've just passed.

City-Brake Active System

City-Brake Active System is a laser radar system that scans ahead, automatically applying the brakes if a risk of a possible collision is detected.

Airbags

The HR-V has been fitted with airbags all round, including curtain airbags. Known as Supplemental Restraint System (SRS), the airbags offer you greatly enhanced protection while out on the road.
