Top Gear has crowned the Honda CR-Z their 'Green Car of the Year' in the magazine's fiercely contested annual Awards. This new trophy brings the total to four awards in as many weeks for the world's first sporty hybrid.
The CR-Z's blend of sporty looks, agile handling and good fuel efficiency allowed it to deal with the bustling back streets of the Third Ring district in China to win over the judges at Top Gear.

The Environmental Transport Association named the hybrid as the overall winner for the second year in a row and also as the winner of the family car category.
Unsurprisingly, the list of most polluting cars was dominated by models from the sports luxury sector. Lamborghini took the bottom two places with its Diablo Roadster and Murcielago Roadster models. The Ferrari Supermerica was rated as the third most polluting.
FOR THE third consecutive year, the Honda S2000 has been voted by 56,000 Top Gear magazine readers as their favourite car, with the Honda Jazz being voted the second best.

Honda UK returns to the Isle of Man TT as both the official motorcycle and car partner to the world-famous motorcycle road race. In doing so, it will provide a combination of CBR1000RR Fireblade SPs and Civic Type Rs to the race organisers who monitor the circuit throughout qualifying and race-week, which gets underway May 25 2019.
