The 2024 Downslink Challenge riders enjoy a well-earned rest

The 9th annual Downslink Challenge has successfully raised nearly £12,000 for local charities. Sponsored by Trident Honda, this off-road cycling event features two main rides: a century ride of 96 miles from Knaphill to Brighton and back, completed by 22 cyclists, and a 48-mile ride from Brighton to Knaphill, completed by 26 cyclists…

If you don't want to change your current car, there are still ways you can drive greener:

Lose Some Weight

Don't drive around with unnecessary weight in your car - the engine will have to work harder and use more fuel. Empty your car of anything that you don't need to carry around all the time. Remove roof boxes and roof racks when you're not using them - they cause extra aerodynamic drag, which will raise your fuel consumption. Open windows and sunroofs do the same; and for the same reason, get any loose items of external trim fixed.

Downslink Challenge raises over £130,000 to date

Leading the way in hospice care, Woking Hospice cares for 2,000 patients, their carers and families every year. In its seventh year, The Downslink Challenge continues to support the hospice, by hosting a number of events to raise money for the charity in celebration of the great work it does for the care it delivers across Surrey.

Honda are delighted to announce a new Limited Edition Civic based on the Si.

The car will be known as the Si-T and feature Pioneer integrated navigation with bluetooth HFT and rear parking sensors and replaces the existing Si-T.

Midnight Walk Launch Event 2018 (click to view full size)

The Woking & Sam Beare Hospices have now launched their 2018 Midnight Walk and have revealed that this year's theme will be 'The Night Owls - We care 24/7', raising awareness of the free end-of-life care that is given by the charity's staff and volunteers around the clock.

Sponsored for the third year by Trident Honda - the launch was attended by Managing Director, Richard Roberts, along with the stunning Honda NSX (see photograph[1]). The 11th annual ladies-only event will start and finish at Woking Leisure Centre on Friday 25 May, with more than 800 walkers following a new route that will be announced very soon.

This afternoon a football-sized piece of ice fell from the sky and landed on one of our cars at Weybridge, narrowly missing one of our valeters. Fortunately no-one was hurt. Apparently this is quite a rare event, thank goodness!

Honda is also easing the pain of the New Year VAT rise by absorbing the price increase for customers throughout January.

Trident Honda

It has now been confirmed that our last normal day of trading at Weybridge will be Thursday 2 April, although our Sales Department will be open for reduced hours on Friday 3 and Saturday 4 April.

From 5 April the site will still be in use by a skeleton staff for a week or two, whilst our Ottershaw workshop redevelopment is completed, but all customer enquiries should be directed to our Ottershaw branch from that time.
