The small SUV will feature the company's advanced two-motor e:HEV powertrain technology as standard for the first time. Honda's innovative hybrid set-up combines high efficiency with refined, fun-to-drive performance.
The all-new HR-V exemplifies Honda's commitment to achieving its 'Electric Vision' strategy that will see all of its European mainstream models electrified by 2022. The HR-V is the latest model in Honda's line-up to wear the e:HEV powertrain badging, joining the CR-V and all new Jazz which was launched in Europe last year.

Honda took to the stage at Geneva to announce the further acceleration of its electrification ambitions. The company announced its intention to move 100 per cent of its European sales to electrified powertrains by 2025. This new ambition builds on the brand's 2017 aim of two-thirds of its sales to be electrified by 2025, and places it firmly at the forefront of Honda's global electrification shift announced as part of its 2030 vision.

The Downslink Challenge, at the beginning of June, helped to raise more than £20,000 for the White Lodge Centre and Woking & Sam Beare Hospices.
This amazing event, sponsored by Trident Honda, started at the Garibaldi pub and travelled all the way to Brighton and back - a distance of 102 miles. Cyclists also had the option of starting in Brighton, thereby reducing the distance to a still amazing 51 miles. But some of the longer-distance riders extended it to a staggering 122 miles, by following a diversion on the way home.

In the fifth and final of a planned series of lap record attempts across Europe in 2018, Honda has set a new 2min 10.19sec record for a front wheel drive production car at the Hungaroring GP circuit in Hungary. The Civic Type R was driven by Formula One World Champion and current NSX Super GT driver, Jenson Button. The track holds special significance for Button, as the circuit where he won the first Grand Prix of his career with Honda in 2006.
