All-new Honda Civic Type R sets new lap record at Suzuka circuit

Honda's next-generation Civic Type R has set a new lap record for a front-wheel drive car at the world-famous Suzuka Circuit in Japan. It lapped the 5.8km track in 2 minutes 23.120 seconds, 0.873 seconds faster than its predecessor, the stripped back 2021 Honda Civic Type R Limited Edition.

A Honda Car Apprenticeship offers an outstanding opportunity to receive first class training, working on the latest range of cars, renowned for sophisticated engineering, cutting-edge technology, outstanding reliability and advanced safety.

Training will be provided at the Honda Institute in Bracknell, through 17 week-long blocks of training. After each training block, you will return to Trident Honda, where you will put your new knowledge and skills into practice, with one-to-one support and training from your work place mentor.

It's going to be a Happy Christmas for Mrs Anne McShane from Shepperton who scooped the top prize, a Honda Jazz, in Woking & Sam Beare Hospices Car Raffle. The second prize, a brand new Honda scooter, was won by Horsell resident Mrs Ann Hefernan. Both vehicles were sponsored by local car retailer Trident Honda, with sites in Ottershaw and Weybridge, and Lottery Manager Kelly Newell went along with some of her dedicated car raffle volunteers to accept the keys on behalf of the lucky winners.

The Trident team sets of from Brighton

The Downslink Challenge is celebrating a huge milestone, after 6 years, organisers have smashed through their £100k fundraising target this month. The epic annual event, which sees entrants cycle from Knaphill to Brighton for charity, was sponsored for the sixth consecutive year by Trident Honda.

This year saw the birth of the 'ProEdition', which offered cyclists a huge 128 miles of cycling for the first time along the old Downslink Railway and river & canal systems locally. For those cyclists that didn't feel as venturesome, they pedalled along the railway route for 50 or 100 miles.
