Honda unveiled the all-new Fit (Jazz) EV Concept electric vehicle and the platform for a mid-size plug-in hybrid vehicle. Both vehicles are integral to the Honda Electric Mobility Network, the company's comprehensive approach to reducing CO2 emissions through innovative products, energy management and energy production technologies.

The Fit EV Concept hints strongly at the direction and styling for Honda's upcoming production Fit EV all-electric vehicle, which will be introduced to the US and Japan in 2012. The all-new plug-in hybrid platform showcases Honda's next-generation, two-motor hybrid technology set to debut in 2012.

Honda has revealed a ground-breaking hydrogen-powered FC Sport concept at the Los Angeles motor show.

The three-seat coupe concept car explores the flexibility of the Japanese brand's 'V Flow' hydrogen fuel cell technology. Until now, the emissions-free system has only been used in the FCX Clarity saloon.

Honda America has announced that three southern California motor retailers will comprise its first fuel cell dealer network in the world. Power Honda Costa Mesa, Honda of Santa Monica and Scott Robinson Honda in Torrance have been selected as each is located in close proximity to hydrogen refueling stations and will be well-positioned to support Honda's growing base of customers of its FCX Clarity hydrogen fuel cell car.

Honda will be presenting the world debut of an exciting Accord Tourer Concept at the forthcoming 2007 Frankfurt motor show. A press conference will be held on the Honda stand in Hall 5 on the first Press Day, 11th September, between 13.15 and 13.45.

The Accord Tourer Concept will give a strong indication of the design direction of the all-new generation Accord Tourer set to debut in mid-2008 and its wider, lower look signals a more sporty, more emotional styling approach. HONDA IS promising a further hybrid model into the UK within the next two years. At the same time it will also bring a small number of the FCX fuel cell car around the same time.

We will have a more financially accessible hybrid available by 2009. We have no idea of the size of the hybrid market right now, we just know that right now we can't meet demand,

Honda has developed a plant-based material to be used as a fabric in car interiors. The new fabric offsets all CO2 emissions produced during the disposal stage of the car, through the CO2 absorption that occurs naturally during the growth of the plants that are used as raw materials.

The new fabric will be first introduced into Honda's new fuel cell vehicle, the Honda FCX, which will be launched within the next three years. Honda says that the fabric could be used for seat surfaces as well as for the interior surfaces of the car.

Honda has revealed more information on Honda FCX at the Geneva International Motor Show.

Another pointer to the direction of Honda's passenger car development is provided by the FCX Concept. This is more than a technology test bed and the advanced fuel cell technology is clothed in a stylish, dynamic bodyshell that offers outstanding space and in-cabin comfort.
