From today, Ginsters is now supplying our Ottershaw Forecourt with Ginsters sandwiches and chilled food. This morning the Ginsters staff worked hard to ensure that the chiller looked the best it could, and already a number of customers have responded favourably. Trident Honda has long been supplied by Ginsters, but today saw the Ginsters appointed as our sandwich supplier.

Following customer feedback on our customer car parking, we held a meeting to review ways of improving our parking. One result of this meeting was the introduction of a valet parking attendant at peak times. This was launched on Thursday 3 May and is proving very popular with our customers, as well as improving the general parking.
Weybridge has a more serious problem, given the town centre location and the limited space available, and we are therefore recruiting a full-time parking attendant. We hope to have this new member of staff available in the coming weeks and feel sure that this will greatly improve the customer experience on arrival.

We have today gone live with a wireless hotspot service at Ottershaw. This enables our customers to connect to the Internet free whilst waiting in the customer waiting area. If successful we will launch the service at Weybridge as well.
Despite the fact that Ottershaw has only been a Honda dealer since August 1st 2005, Martin Williams has managed to scoop a national top 5 parts place with Honda!
This Martin achieved by entering into the parts adviser 2006 competition run by Honda and answering a series of tough questions to get him a place in the finals; which are being held at the Honda Institute this Friday.

Chris Burkitt has joined Weybridge as Aftersales Manager. Chris replaces David Herridge who leaves later this month. During his time with us at Thames Ditton, Chris proved himself a most capable Aftersales Manager, and we are delighted he has chosen to rejoin the Trident Honda Team.
It's not widely know that Trident appeared in The Sweeney, a hugely popular TV show of the 1970's.
The Episode was Visiting Fireman, Season 3, Episode 3, at around 25 minutes in, and it was aired at 9.00pm on ITV on Monday, 20 September 1976.
Whilst this was the only appearance of Trident, Ottershaw also featured in Nightmare
and possibly others.
