We are delighted to announce that, after 25 years with the same telephone system, Trident Honda will tomorrow be going live with a shiny new and modern telephone system!

Why are we changing?

Over the past 25 years Trident Honda has benefited from having a telephone system with bulletproof reliability; but, following the merger of our Weybridge dealership with Ottershaw, it is fair to say that our telephone system has on occasion struggled to cope with peak call volumes.

Queensmead Weybridge Ltd, a joint venture partnership between Cleanslate and Trident Honda, are pleased to announce that demolition of the former Honda Garage on Queens Road in Weybridge has commenced, to make way for a brand new landmark building; comprising high quality retail outlets and a range of luxury apartments. Demolition works will be completed within four weeks and the new building is expected to be completed within two years.

This afternoon a football-sized piece of ice fell from the sky and landed on one of our cars at Weybridge, narrowly missing one of our valeters. Fortunately no-one was hurt. Apparently this is quite a rare event, thank goodness!

We are very proud that last night our Managing Director Richard Roberts was presented with the Paul Harris Fellowship Award, an award rarely given to someone outside of the Rotary organisation.

It was awarded for the many years of charity work and support given by Richard in his role both as Managing Director of Trident Garages and outside in his personal life. At the ceremony, attended by a number of Woking's charity organisations, Richard said:

Honda (UK) is very proud of their reputation for excellent customer service, which they have built up over many years. Honda's dedication to customer service has seen them achieve 2nd position in the 2010 JD Power Vehicle Ownership Satisfaction Survey, and they continue to strive to improve.

Since 2005 Honda has invested in a team of dedicated staff to call a sample of customers who visit Honda dealerships either to buy cars or have their current cars serviced and ask them about the level of service received.

Update: Motor Codes became The Motor Ombudsman in November 2016. The Motor Ombudsman continues to administer the Motor Industry Code of Practice for Service and Repair. Independent research published by Which? found that, after two years of operation, automotive consumer champion Motor Codes was making significant progress in raising service and repair standards in UK garages.
