Honda (UK) is very proud of their reputation for excellent customer service, which they have built up over many years. Honda's dedication to customer service has seen them achieve 2nd position in the 2010 JD Power Vehicle Ownership Satisfaction Survey, and they continue to strive to improve.

Since 2005 Honda has invested in a team of dedicated staff to call a sample of customers who visit Honda dealerships either to buy cars or have their current cars serviced and ask them about the level of service received.

Update: Motor Codes became The Motor Ombudsman in November 2016. The Motor Ombudsman continues to administer the Motor Industry Code of Practice for Service and Repair. This article has been retained as an historical record and references below to Motor Codes relate to the organisation as it was known at the time.

Independent research published by Which? found that, after two years of operation, automotive consumer champion Motor Codes was making significant progress in raising service and repair standards in UK garages.

Despite the fact that Ottershaw has only been a Honda dealer since August 1st 2005, Martin Williams has managed to scoop a national top 5 parts place with Honda!

This Martin achieved by entering into the parts adviser 2006 competition run by Honda and answering a series of tough questions to get him a place in the finals; which are being held at the Honda Institute this Friday.

Update: Chris Burkitt subsequently retired and later rejoined us as an Aftersales Driver, please visit Service Team.

Chris Burkitt has joined Weybridge as Aftersales Manager. Chris replaces David Herridge who leaves later this month. During his time with us at Thames Ditton, Chris proved himself a most capable Aftersales Manager, and we are delighted he has chosen to rejoin the Trident Honda Team.

It's not widely known that Trident appeared in The Sweeney, a hugely popular TV show of the 1970's. The Episode was Visiting Fireman, Season 3, Episode 3, at around 25 minutes in, and it was aired at 9.00pm on ITV on Monday, 20 September 1976. Whilst this was the only appearance of Trident, Ottershaw also featured in Nightmare and possibly others.

Michael Roberts, his brother-in-law John Peirson-Smith and father-in-law Ian Maybury incorporated Trident Garages Limited.

Prior to his death in 2017, Michael Roberts wrote about his purchase of Trident Garages:

“It happened also at this time that Ian Maybury, Valerie's stepfather, said he would be interested in funding a garage enterprise and I agreed to look for suitable businesses for sale.
