Coronavirus face mask

Please remember to wear a face mask when you visit Trident Honda!

Since 24th July it has been a requirement of the UK government for all customers to wear a face covering in shops and supermarkets, with fines of up to £100 for failing to comply.

This has caused some confusion for our customers, as to whether or not our Honda showroom and Shell filling station are shops. The legal advice that we have now been given is that the likelihood is that both premises are indeed classed as shops, at least for the purposes of these new rules.

Sneeze screens have been installed at every desk

Trident Honda is delighted to announce that it will be re-opening its Honda Showroom on Sundays, between 10am and 4pm, with immediate effect.

Since our last update, we have seen strong demand for the new Honda Jazz and Jazz Crosstar, and huge interest in the stunning new Honda e. Better still, the Honda Summer Event has made our range even more affordable. As result, we have been able to return our final sales executive from furlough, and this was the last change needed to enable Sunday opening, and a return to our pre-COVID-19 Opening Hours.

We have also been able to bring back our showroom receptionists, to improve our telephone answering, and bring back our much-missed showroom coffee!

Sneeze screens have been installed at every desk

Trident Honda has enjoyed a remarkable bounce-back since the COVID-19 lockdown, with more cars sold last week than in the same period last year - no doubt helped by the launch of the fabulous 2021 Honda Jazz and Jazz Crosstar, and the arrival of the simply stunning Honda e. It is a similar picture in our Service Department, with sales running at around 98% of our 2019 average.

As a result of this amazing return to form, Trident Honda has now brought back all available customer-facing dealership staff, and has opened up its telephones fully for the first time since the lockdown.

Trident Honda is delighted to announce the re-opening of its Ottershaw Honda Showroom from this morning, 1st June, in line with government guidelines. Previously operating on-line and by phone only, our sales team is now able to arrange showroom appointments and test drives, including for the fabulous new 2021 Honda Jazz - more on this below.

Meanwhile our Service department continues to increase capacity, with another furloughed technician returning this week, and is taking bookings from all customers; although keyworkers continue to be given priority.

Our Shell filling station remains open on our temporarily reduced hours of 6AM to 9PM.

The all-new Hybrid Honda Jazz and Jazz Crosstar

Trident Honda Ottershaw has now re-opened for new and used Honda Sales, but only by phone and on-line at present, as Car Showrooms are not permitted to open until Monday 1st June.

Meanwhile our Service department has been steadily increasing capacity and has now opened up to all customers; although keyworkers will of course continue to be given priority.

Our Shell filling station remains open on our reduced hours of 6AM to 9PM.
