Steve Henderson retires as dealer principal

Steve Henderson, Dealer Principal for Trident Honda Ottershaw, as well as Commercial Director, retires today.

Steve Henderson joined Trident Honda as the general manager of our newly built Weybridge dealership in 1997. After 21 years with a successful local dealer group and, having reached the position of finance director, Steve had wanted to return to the operational side of our industry.

Steve's enthusiasm and passion for high standards of customer care led to his appointment to the board as commercial director in 1999.

On 4th April 2015, our Weybridge dealership closed its doors for the last time, and Steve Henderson, along with most of the Weybridge team, moved to our Ottershaw dealership to assume the role of dealership principal for the enlarged dealership.

During his time at Ottershaw, Steve was instrumental in bringing the teams from both dealerships together, and saw the site redeveloped at a cost of around £1m.

Steve will continue to advise the dealership on a part-time consultancy basis.

There are few people who have been so formative to the ethos of Trident Honda, and the shareholders of Trident Honda would like to thank Steve for his years of dedicated service to the business, and for his unswerving loyalty to the business.
