Honda has announced that it has been presented with one of the first Euro NCAP Advanced rewards at Paris Motor Show. Honda's CMBS technology has been recognised as amongst the best safety innovations, offering research proven benefits, by Euro NCAP.

Euro NCAP Advanced is a Euro NCAP initiative in response to the rapid development of new safety technologies available when buying cars for which there is no independent assessment. Euro NCAP Advanced is open to any technical system that has a demonstrable safety benefit, whether it is primary, secondary or tertiary, as long as it is available as an option on one of the Euro NCAP tested cars and not already addressed by the current star rating.

The new NSX GT3 Evo

Honda Motor Company is pleased to announce that an enhanced NSX GT3, designated the NSX GT3 Evo, will compete on racetracks throughout the world in 2019.

Based on the ultra-popular NSX production model, the latest evolution of the multiple race-winning NSX GT3 features a number of important revisions aimed at delivering improved performance and reliability to customer racing teams around the globe.

Honda Motor Europe's President, Manabu Nishimae, today announced that the 1.6-litre i-DTEC engine in the new Civic would deliver CO2 emissions of 95g/km.

The new 1.6-litre i-DTEC engine is the first drive train from Honda's new Earth Dreams Technology engine series to be introduced into Europe. It will be manufactured at Honda's UK manufacturing facility in Swindon from the end of 2012.

Trident Honda of Ottershaw and Weybridge are in the running for a prestigious national award for Customer Care, after reaching the last three franchised dealers in the annual Motor Trader Awards. The team are now looking forward to July 10th when the winner will be announced at a ceremony in London.

A Montage of the 2018 Trident Honda Otters

Congratulations to all the teams who took part in the 6th annual Dragon Boat Races on Sunday 3 June at Goldsworth Park Lake, Woking.

Sponsored by Trident Honda, the event saw 10 teams take to the water in brightly painted, dragon-headed boats on an extremely hot and blisteringly sunny day. The event provided a colourful spectacle for all our visitors during the day, who came to the lakeside to cheer on the rowers and to enjoy the family fun day activities on the bank too.

The Honda e with charger

Honda is further accelerating its electrification plans for Europe by moving forward its goal for all of its European mainstream models to feature electrified powertrains by 2022. The bold new target announced during an 'Electric Vision' event in Amsterdam, is three years ahead of the previously announced 2025 goal, demonstrating the confidence Honda has in its electric and hybrid powertrain technology.

This acceleration will see 6 electrified models launched over the next 36 months, with the Honda e and new hybrid-only Jazz leading the way.
