Cars may be more reliable in 2011, but breakdown services remain a valuable source of help - and peace of mind - for motorists. Which? asked 7,366 drivers to rate the service they received when they called for roadside rescue.

They found Honda Roadside Assistance to be the best manufacturer-branded cover. Its excellent 77% overall score puts it well ahead of Club Toyota (67%) and Mazda European Assistance (64%). 'Premium' makes fare less well, with BMW (47%), Land Rover (46%) and Mercedes (44%) in the bottom three places.

Honda will unveil a cleaner, higher quality Insight hybrid at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September.

The revised 5-door hatchback will have lower CO² emissions of 96g/km, achieved through enhanced aerodynamics and powertrain efficiency. Reduced engine friction, changes to the CVT transmission and improved air conditioning all contribute to lower fuel consumption.

MUGEN of Japan has built a CR-Z MUGEN RR design concept to demonstrate MUGEN's capabilities in terms of function, style, performance and agility. The CR-Z MUGEN RR was produced by M-TEC in Japan for show purposes only and there are currently no plans for further production.

The CR-Z MUGEN RR has been created with many bespoke prototype parts, several of which are created in carbon fibre, including the bonnet, passenger doors and rear tailgate. Other features unique to the car include a full length carbon-fibre underbody, a twin central-exit exhaust, vented front bumpers and race-developed suspension. Orange 4-piston monobloc brake calipers and forged 18-inch alloy wheels both complement the vibrant Valencia Orange Pearl exterior paint work.

Honda cars generated fewer warranty claims over the last 12 months than any other brand, according to research by MB&G, the warranty provider.

Japanese and Korean brands dominated the list, with Honda followed by Lexus, Mitsubishi, Toyota and Suzuki in the top five.

Honda (UK) and MUGEN Euro have revealed the first official photographs of the CR-Z MUGEN - the higher-performance hybrid coupe.

Development of the supercharged Honda CR-Z is on track, with performance figures already looking promising. Early tests with a prototype car based on a standard CR-Z and a mid-tune engine have given 0-60mph times around that of the Civic Type R.

Trident Honda sponsored this year's Scout May Fayre which was held on the 3rd May at the Wheatsheaf Common in Woking.

Staff also took part in the bank holiday festivities and ran a competition to win a Honda lawn mower. Entrants had to guess how many balloons filled up a Honda Jazz and Jamie Anderson was the lucky winner with his guess of 107!

Cyclists who took part in the 23rd annual Woking Bikeathon on Sunday 15th May may have seen a few familiar faces from Trident Garages.

Richard Roberts, Managing Director, was one of the volunteers who marshalled on the course whilst Brian Cruickshank, Sales Support, and Martin Beagley, Vehicle Technician, were two of the cyclists taking part in the charity bike ride raising money for Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research. Together, Brian and Martin have raised over £350 for the cause and successfully completed the course in under 2 hours!
