The Woking & Sam Beare Hospices are holding their annual black tie Dove Ball event on Saturday 11th November at the Oatlands Park Hotel in Weybridge.

Once again Trident Honda will be supporting the event, with a donation of two VIP tickets to the 2018 British Touring Car Championship with Honda. The British Touring Car Championship always delivers seat of the pants racing for spectators and is a great day out. Honda finished the 2017 season in 2nd place in the Constructors' Championship and, with the stunning new Type R, is expected to do even better next season.

Sunday saw the return of the Woking Rotary Swimathon to the Woking Pool in the Park for its 10th Year, once again sponsored by Trident Honda in Ottershaw. The event was inaugurated by the Mayor of Woking, Councillor Graham Cundy, who very kindly started the event and handed out the first round of medals.

The event, which has been sponsored by Trident Honda since it was started in 2008, has so far raised over £110,000 for local Woking charities.

Honda is set to unveil its CR-V Hybrid Prototype at the 2017 Frankfurt Motor Show, previewing the brand's first ever electrified SUV powertrain available in Europe. The Hybrid Prototype also features revised styling that previews the forthcoming European specification CR-V model range. The CR-V Hybrid Prototype represents the first time that the all-new CR-V has been shown at a European motor show.

Trident Honda partnered with Woking & Sam Beare Hospices for the annual Dragon Boat Race on 25 June, which is expected to raise a final total of more than £18,000, including pledged sponsorship from the rowing teams.

The event, which is held at Goldsworth Park Lake, is sponsored by Trident Honda and in memory of Kris Cook, who grew up close to the lake where he pursued his love of water sports and was a keen supporter of Woking & Sam Beare Hospices.
