The development team worked hard to sharpen every detail of the design, build and aerodynamics, to optimise the interior refinement in the new Civic. The engineers spent time testing the car in Europe to tune the new Civic to suit the varying road conditions.

Trident Honda

Official pictures have been released of the new Honda CR-V, which will go on sale in January 2010.

The car will be available with Honda's 2.2-litre i-DTEC engine, which was launched in the Accord last year, for the first time. It produces 148bhp and 258lb ft of torque. It can also be mated to either a manual gearbox or a new, five-speed automatic unit.

The Honda e-Ny1 Prototype Electric SUV

The recent unveiling of Honda's all-new Civic e:HEV represents the culmination of its commitment to electrify its range by the end of 2022. The Civic is the latest model to be offered with e:HEV (hybrid electric vehicle) technology and joins Honda's other electrified models: Jazz, Jazz Crosstar, CR-V, HR-V and Honda e.

Trident Honda

At the weekend over a thousand riders took part in the return of the Woking Bikeathon and the events return can only be described as a huge success!

The event was made possible by the sponsors, Trident Honda of Ottershaw & Weybridge, Bourne Valley Garden Centre, Barlow Robbins Solicitors and Freedom Leisure, working in conjunction with Woking Borough Council. Help was also provided by The Woking Advertiser, who came in as the event's media partner and were a great support throughout the build up to the event, as well as attending the event itself.

Martin Williams standing outside the Parts retail counter

We are delighted to announce that our parts supervisor, Martin Williams, completed his 30th year of service on Wednesday.

Martin joined us in 1989 at the age of 30, recruited to the role of Senior Parts Person, under our parts supervisor Ian Essex. At the time our managing director was still our founder - Michael Roberts, and Trident Honda was an Austin Rover main dealer selling Austin Metro, Maestro, Montego, Rover 200 (based on the Honda Ballade) and the new Rover 800 (based on the Honda Legend). Trident Honda had celebrated its 25th anniversary in the previous year.

My interview was with MR (Michael Roberts) and afterwards he brought me down and introduced me to Ian. Ian and myself were very similar in attitude and outlook and we got on straight from the start.
