A while ago we announced the launch of the new 1.6 litre diesel.
As expected, it is now being added to the Honda Civic range.
The new engine boasts 120-PS and achieves 78.5-mpg whilst emitting just 94g/km CO2 - thus qualifying it for free road tax and exemption from the London Congestion charge (subject to registration).

Our launch events at Ottershaw and Weybridge were a great success, with much better than expected attendance, a first order and many strong enquiries.
Unsurprisingly there was also strong interest in the outgoing model; driven by the spectacular CR-V Offers currently available.

The British built Honda CR-V has fought off fierce competition to be crowned Most Popular 4x4 by expert motoring website http://honestjohn.co.uk.

Honda Motor Europe's President, Manabu Nishimae, today announced that the 1.6-litre i-DTEC engine in the new Civic would deliver CO2 emissions of 95g/km.
The new 1.6-litre i-DTEC engine is the first drive train from Honda's new Earth Dreams Technology engine series to be introduced into Europe.
It will be manufactured at Honda's UK manufacturing facility in Swindon from the end of 2012.

On 9 January 2012 Acura (a division of Honda operating in the US and Canada) announced at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit that an all-new NSX supercar will be manufactured in Ohio.
In addition, the new sports car will be developed in the U.S., including the Ohio Center of Honda R&D Americas, Inc. (HRA).

Honda Motor Co., Ltd. will exhibit the world premiere of the EV-STER, the next-generation electric small sports concept model, at the 42nd Tokyo Motor Show 2011, which will take place at Tokyo Big Sight from Saturday December 3 through to Sunday December 11 2011.
Featuring a dynamic and innovative styling design and excellent environmental performance, the EV-STER, an electric rear-wheel-drive two-seater convertible sports car, will propose a new way to enjoy a sports type model which is unique to the electromotive mobility.
The adoption of carbon materials made it possible to reduce the vehicle weight contributing to the vehicle's high driving performance and range of approximately 160km.
The easy-to-operate twin-lever steering was adopted for the thorough pursuit of the joy of driving.
