This new grade for the revised 2019 model is equipped with the more powerful 1.5-litre VTEC TURBO petrol engine as well as dynamic upgrades to the chassis and suspension.

Ahead of its European show debut at the 2018 Mondial Paris Motor Show, Honda has confirmed official fuel economy and CO2 emissions for the all-new CR-V Hybrid. Under the combined cycle of the revised NEDC test, the front-wheel drive model of the 184 PS (135 kW) petrol-electric SUV has achieved CO2 emissions of 120g/km and official average (combined) fuel economy of 5.3l/100km (53.3mpg). The all-wheel drive CR-V Hybrid variant has CO2 emissions of 126g/km and average (combined) fuel economy of 5.5 l/100km (51.4 mpg).
The CR-V Hybrid is driven by Honda's unique i-MMD technology, which intelligently and automatically switches between three driving modes - EV Drive, Hybrid Drive and Engine Drive - to optimise both performance and efficiency.

Honda UK has released details of the grades, specification and pricing of the next generation CR-V. Launched last month, the new CR-V will start from £25,995 for a 2WD manual S grade and top out at £36,455 for an AWD EX with CVT.
- Pricing to start from £25,995 for entry level 2WD and top out at £36,455 for top spec CVT
- Grades follow previous generation with S, SE, SR and EX
- PCP example of £279 for mid-level SR manual in AWD

Trident Honda has today announced the imminent refurbishment of their Ottershaw dealership in line with the latest Honda corporate identity.
The work will commence on Saturday (28th October) and will last approximately eight weeks, through to the end of the year.
We will attempt to stay open throughout, by constructing a temporary wall to split the showroom into two halves.

The annual Which? Car Survey has named the Honda CR-V 2.2 i-VTEC the UK's most reliable 4x4/SUV up to three years old; with zero reported breakdowns, average annual repair costs of just £10 and an overall reliability score of 98.5% over a twelve month period.
Furthermore the CR-V shone through with 0.14 faults reported, compared to 0.88 for the worst performing in its category; and 0.11 days off the road, with the worst performing recording an average 1.09 days.

Honda has revitalised the popular British built Jazz range with a brand new variant – the ES Plus. The new ES Plus replaces the ES model and boasts a host of extra features including 16" alloy wheels, cruise control, privacy glass, driver's front armrest and leather wrapped steering wheel and gear stick.
These additional goodies are on top of the standard equipment found on the outgoing ES model and are combined with the efficient 1.4 i-VTEC engine, all from just £14,495 OTR.
Honda has added the 1.6-litre diesel engine from the Civic hatchback to the CR-V range, and in doing so, it has created the most economical and lowest-emitting version of its family-friendly SUV.
Thus far, the most frugal CR-V has been the 2.2-litre diesel-engined model, which averages just over 50mpg and emits 149g/km, but the 1.6-litre model has that well beaten: it averages 62.8mpg and emits just 119g/km of CO2. That makes it one of the most frugal SUVs on sale today.

McLaren has today, 16 May 2013, confirmed that it will form a new multi-year Formula 1 technology partnership with Honda.

Honda BTCC driver Gordon 'Flash' Shedden was crowned BTCC Driver Champion for 2012 at a rain-soaked Brands hatch yesterday.
It was the first championship for a Scottish driver for 17 years and is just reward for a great man who has worked tremendously hard to achieve his dream.

Honda says investment at its UK plant in Swindon has reached £267m amid plans to ramp up production.
The money will support the introduction of its new Civic and CR-V car models and a new 1.6-litre diesel engine.
The site is expected to produce 183,000 cars this year, with output forecast to rise to 250,000 within three years.
About 500 workers have been recruited this year in the firm's biggest single UK investment programme for a decade, raising the total workforce to 3,500.

The Honda Yuasa Racing team overcame setbacks and appalling conditions to win two races at the third round of the Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship at Thruxton.

The Honda Yuasa Racing Team kicked off its 2012 Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship challenge in fine style with victory for its new Civic at the Brands Hatch season opener on Saturday 1 April.

The CR-Z MUGEN is to be supercharged and deliver around 200PS.
MUGEN Euro's tuned Honda CR-Z remains on course for its world debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in July.
MUGEN has revealed that the high-performance CR-Z hybrid will use a supercharger to deliver over 50 per cent more power and torque from the Honda's petrol-electric drivetrain.
The tuned version of the hybrid coupe is expected to produce around 200PS, and 181lb.ft of torque, with significantly enhanced performance throughout the rev range. The car retains the Honda IMA electric motor and the original 1.5-litre i-VTEC petrol engine, which has been rebuilt to MUGEN specification with bespoke upgraded and strengthened internal components.

The Honda CRZ came first in the 'Most Economic and Environment Friendly Sports HEV' category at the first RAC Brighton to London Future Car Challenge on Saturday 6 November.
Entrants started the challenge from Madeira Drive in Brighton, finishing at Pall Mall in London.
Cars had to be driven around the 60 mile route in reverse, and the mission was to complete the event with the least energy impact.
Entries were measured in various modes for the energy used during the drive.

Honda Racing team star Matt Neal has thrust himself right back into the title fight for this season's Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship after a win and a third place finish at Knockhill in Scotland on Sunday.
Neal has moved into second place in the standings after the rounds in Fife and is optimistic of reaching the title summit in the remaining six rounds of this season's competition, which continues at Donington Park on 18th and 19th September.
Neal carried a full load of success ballast to notch a fourth place finish in race one.

TOKYO, Japan - Honda announced that global sales of Honda hybrid vehicles passed the 300,000-unit mark on a cumulative basis at the end of January 2009, since the introduction of the first-generation Insight in November 1999.
Honda will unveil its first hot diesel, in the shape of the new Honda Accord Type S, at the Geneva motor show in March, the company has announced.
The Honda Accord Type S will use the same 2.2-litre diesel engine as the standard car, but tweaked to produce an extra 22lb ft of torque and 29bhp more.

The Accord i-DTEC automatic will go on sale in January 2009 priced from £22,400. Honda will launch its first automatic transmission for a diesel engine in 2009, with the new gearbox featuring in the Accord.
The Japanese manufacturer expects automatic transmission in the Accord to appeal to a new segment of customers, particularly in the corporate market, where it considers high mileage user choosers often will only consider an automatic transmission.

Honda has again scored top points in the 2008 What Car?/JD Power Customer Satisfaction Survey.
This year's survey asked 16,301 car owners for their verdicts on the service they got from their dealers.
The five-star result was a unanimous seal of approval, with all those surveyed giving the thumbs-up, whether they had a Jazz supermini or a CR-V 4x4.
The overall star rating comprises ratings in five categories: Service Initiation, Service Adviser, Dealer Facilities, Picking Up and Service Quality.
Honda America has announced that three southern California motor retailers will comprise its first fuel cell dealer network in the world.

Honda plans to boost its hybrid car sales with the launch of a new accessibly priced model next year, which it expects to sell 200,000 units of annually.
The announcement came from Honda Motor Co CEO Takeo Fukui's mid-year address.
The company will seek to further accelerate its hybrid sales by introducing a hybrid based on its Honda CR-Z, a new Civic Hybrid and the addition of a Jazz Hybrid model.
With all four of these models, Honda expects combined annual sales of its hybrid models to reach 500,000 units.

Honda has done exceptionally well in the JD Power/What Car? 2008 UK Customer Satisfaction Index Study. In addition to ranking overall as one of the top three brands, it also picked up the greatest number of model segment awards - finishing in the top three in no fewer than five model categories.
Unsurprisingly the Honda Jazz picked up the crown for small cars; Honda Civic came third in the lower-medium segment; Honda CR-V was rated the top SUV.

The award was presented by Jeremy Clarkson to Bernard Bradley, General Manager - Cars, at the Top Gear Awards dinner in London on Thursday 10 January.

Honda UK Manufacturing Limited (HUM) celebrated a major milestone on Friday November 9th with the production of the millionth Swindon-built Civic, further underlining Honda's long term confidence in UK manufacturing and Swindon.
Civic production began on September 19, 1994 and in that first year just 6,652 Civics were produced.
This year, HUM will produce 138,792 Civic cars.

Britain's SUV buyers are making greener choices in the showroom, according to latest industry sales figures. Cars like Honda's CR-V are selling better than ever, as they offer a cleaner, smaller alternative to the traditional 4x4 stereotype.
Despite negative public feeling towards 4x4s – that influenced a drop of 4% in the sector – sales of the low emissions CR-V increased by 28 per cent over the first six months of the year (11,665 cars to the end of June 2007 versus 9,086 for the same period last year) – and the Honda continues to top the charts as the UK's favourite SUV.

FASHIONABLE homeware supplier Ikea is taking on 50 Civic petrol/electric hybrids and plans to replace all its company cars with the model. Further deliveries of the four-door hybrid Civic will be made next year. The cars are understood to be replacing Skodas and the total switch to these models is being claimed as a UK corporate first. For the second year running Honda has achieved second place overall in the J D Power Survey, scoring highly across all four categories - vehicle quality and reliability, vehicle appeal, service satisfaction and ownership costs.

The Environmental Transport Association named the hybrid as the overall winner for the second year in a row and also as the winner of the family car category.
Unsurprisingly, the list of most polluting cars was dominated by models from the sports luxury sector. Lamborghini took the bottom two places with its Diablo Roadster and Murcielago Roadster models. The Ferrari Supermerica was rated as the third most polluting.
In the latest ranking from the Union of Concerned Scientists, the US pressure group, the Japanese brand topped the table for the fourth time in a row.
It narrowly beat Toyota, which was commended for making cuts in global warming pollution. Hyundai-Kia was placed third, followed by Nissan and Volkswagen. The US car-makers fared poorly with Ford in sixth place ahead of General Motors and Daimler-Chrysler, which was ranked as the least environmentally friendly manufacturer.

Honda has announced its intention to enter the light aircraft market. The car maker plans on taking its first orders in the autumn for its HondaJet, which is designed as a five-passenger private aircraft. Honda is setting up a company in the US to launch the Jet and has formed an alliance with aviation manufacturer Piper Aircraft to collaborate on sales and service.

Honda has developed a plant-based material to be used as a fabric in car interiors. The new fabric offsets all CO2 emissions produced during the disposal stage of the car, through the CO2 absorption that occurs naturally during the growth of the plants that are used as raw materials.
The new fabric will be first introduced into Honda's new fuel cell vehicle, the Honda FCX, which will be launched within the next three years. Honda says that the fabric could be used for seat surfaces as well as for the interior surfaces of the car.
Honda's S-2000 has come out on top for the second year running in the Auto Express Drive Power 2006 reliability survey. The study, which reveals the best and worst cars in the UK according to over 46,000 motorists, gave the S-2000 a satisfaction rating of 92.6%, beating off competition from the brand's other models the Accord and Jazz.

Trident Ottershaw joins the World of Honda
Trident Garages is well known locally as a long-established family business, with dealerships in Ottershaw and Weybridge.
The Trident name has long been associated with MG Rover; but, after 42-years, it is all change at Trident Honda, as the last of its MG Rover dealerships, based at Ottershaw, has now joined the World of Honda.
We visited Trident Ottershaw as the last of the Honda signs were being erected, and there was a real buzz amongst the staff.
The showroom looked thoroughly modern, following its renovation last year, with additional design touches now being introduced by Honda.
