Last Thursday we were delighted to hand over our first 2017 Civic Type R, which looked absolutely stunning in Championship White. It could not have gone to a better home, as its new owner - Mr Tony Raymond, has now purchased the last three generations of Type R from Trident Honda.

Honda is set to unveil its CR-V Hybrid Prototype at the 2017 Frankfurt Motor Show, previewing the brand's first ever electrified SUV powertrain available in Europe. The Hybrid Prototype also features revised styling that previews the forthcoming European specification CR-V model range. We're delighted to report that Honda's next-generation Civic Type R has won the coveted What Car? reader award and has been named as the most eagerly anticipated car launch of 2017.
Demonstrating its huge popularity, the Type R took almost half of the votes and clinched the top spot in the poll compiled by What Car? experts and voted for by the readers.

Commemorating the last of the current Civic Type R to come off the production line, the Black Edition is limited to the last 100 cars and Honda is expecting it to become a true collector's item, and we now have one here at Trident Honda.
The Civic Type R Black Edition features a predominantly black interior with red accents which add to the premium cabin feel, while the exterior is differentiated from the standard version by red rear wing end plates on the spoiler.
